I hope that some of you are planning to leave Houston this weekend. There are some really great places in Texas to go to "enjoy" the heat, as I mentioned in the prior post.
The following is some information on tubing the Comal River near San Marcos (between Austin and San Antonio):

There are several outfitters where you can rent the tubes. You don't have to get them at this particular place. They're all in the same area.
