HI,everybody.My name is Rey Hu. I'm from China.I graduated from my university ,after that,I worked 2 years before I came to US.For me, my stage at this time is try to prepare my study in American.My hobby is Movie, sometime I think it can courage me to try different way when I face some troubles in my life. My favorite movie is kongfu panda, it is saying even though a simple person if you work hard than you could be a master too! I have a sister in my family,if you know the policy about Chinese birth control you will know it's not a common situation in China. She let me understood responsibility more clearly. I love Texas very much, it's a freedom land with huge natural resources. I like Texans too, they know how to enjoy life and work hard. I'm really feel I like to be one member of Texans, so don't mess me.Let's work hard together,fall is for harvest.

I had worked with oil and gas company before I came to us. I like to play soccer, video games, watching TV shows. and listening. Those what I like to do in my free time.I am able to get the lessons from the first teacher's explain.I do need to go back to the book.I think this what makes me unique.Furthermore, I interest to get more information about my friends by asking them and listen to them.Spending the whole day with fun is my purpose. Challenging is my life. I always chose the things that others think is impossible to get it or do it. Basically I believe everything is possible.
ReplyDeleteHi. My complete name is Alejandro Guzman Mendez. Alejandro is my first name and Guzman Mendez are my family names. As you know, I am a Mechanical Engineer graduated in 2010. I worked in my own town (Barcelona, Venezuela) since 2012 in the field of Oil and Gas Industry. Now, I am here learning English because I want to study a master here at the University of Houston called Mechanical Engineering Technology Track. Also, I am here in Houston with my fiancee. We have planned get married at the end of this year, but we don't know whether we are going to get married here in USA or in our country, that depends of the LCC program. I like to play tennis and baseball, furthermore I like to ride a bicycle. In general, I like sports.

My name is Marta Alises and I am 25 years old and I studied Law and Journalism degree in my country, Spain. I always know that my way is living in foreign country. I like so much travelling around the world. I like to know other cultures. Maybe it is not interesting because people like to travel but in my case is true. If you need a partner to travel to India, Vietnam, China, Japan...you have just call me. I want to improve my english because it is necessary if I want to get a job in a law firm.

However, i had to come with my family to treat my brother here in Houston. My dream is to study medicine, but here in the the united states, students willing to study medicine should have a bachelor degree first. As a result, I changed my plan, i chose to study chemical engineering before in order to get accepted in the medical school. I like watching movies, riding horses, playing tennis, and sometimes reading books. Although i am young, sometimes i amaze myself by the wisdom i have which makes me unique.

I got married last year and we would like to have a child here so that he can get a American Citizen. In the weekend ,I usually go to play bowling and pool at UC center, so I have a great time with my friends and my family and I go to movies as well .I love to cook especially Thai food such as Pad Thai , Tom Yum Gung and I also like to try international food. I have been Houston for 8 months and I got my drive licences 15 days ago ,after that i move to new apartment which is far.Therefore ,sometime if I come to class looks tired, don't worry, I will pay attention and be a good student in class:) After i graduated, I decided study economic and social science ,then I will back to China and go achieve my dream which is politician.I'm a big sports guy and I like to exercise especially is swimming , I will swim anytime if I can. ReplyDeleteMy name is Omar Alvarado and as you can see i have an arabic name, but I am from south America (Venezuela). That should sounds weird for some people. I used to change the main topic that i was talking about so lets talk the main topic. I just graduated from high school and arrived here in Houston. I am 18 years old and maybe the yougest in my class as the last 2 semesters. I am studying english to enroll at UH business administration program. I want to get two majors: marketing and management. When I finish the college, I hope to find a good job in an important company and later start my own business. I am not sure what kind of business I want because I like restaurants, farms or even night clubs (my mother always says that I am crazy because of that). However, I have to wait at least 5 or 6 years fot that so lets wait. I like play guitar. I am not Paul McCartney, but i enjoy to play in my free time. I am a soccer fan (crazy fan) but just fan because i dont play. I had been swimming since I was 11, but I stopped 2 years ago. Now, I just watch competitions in TV and visit the pool once a week. Finally, I am as all Venezuelan people a happy person who likes talk with everybody and somethins tell jokes. This week I am kind of asleep. I have to adapt my self to this schedule because it is totally different than the last one. The next week I must be able with plenty of energy to start the semester better! Even though is summer, I think it could be an enjoyble semester.

I graduated from the university this January, and went on preparing English for studying abroad. I have only one sibling, my younger sister.
ReplyDeleteI've been in Houston for a month. This is my first semester so I was and I am a bit (actually very) confused and nervous (thinking of those tests we've just taken, OMG). Well, my target is to get the Master's degree in Fashion designing in a "university somewhere" after finishing my study in LCC.
My hobbies are drawing (tell me if any of you want me to sketch your face, I'm always ready. It'll takes only few minutes of your life); listening to music; watching movies, especially animations; and traveling.

Hi, I am Lena, I have been in Houston for 5 months. I like fresh air here and good manner citizen. Before I came here I had been a chemical engineer for about 15 years, I like my major, after I finish my English study, I am going to continue my professional master degree. I like reading, running, driving, shopping, watching movies and listening to music. When I was a student, my favorite course is Math, my worst course is English. However now I am paying most attention to study English, I have confidence in myself :-)

I am from Saudi Arabia.I am engaged and I will get married soon.I have a bachelor degree in Accounting.I graduated from King Faisal University in 2012. After graduating,I decided to gain some practical experience by working.I worked as an accountant in a hospital for three months then I received an opportunity to work as an accounting assistant at KFU, from where I had just graduated. I worked at KFU for six months and that experience engendered in me a passion to work in the accounting fields and learn more about it.After that, I decided to come to Houston to get my master degree in Accounting.I have been in Houston for almost 9 months and this is my first term at LCC. ReplyDeleteI'm Ali from Saudi Arabia. I just finished high school in my country and came to Houston because i want to be a student at University of Houston. I have three brothers and one sister. I'm the older one of my sibling. Actually I enjoy playing soccer anywhere. In addition, everyone knows that sports are healthy for your body. I live on campus, so i don't have a car. However, I'm happy with this life. My goal is to get University of Houston as possible as I can. When i'm doing my work, I take it very seriously. Also I don't like to be absent because I will miss a lot of information that i should learn it in this day. I will study hard to pass this level and there is nothing impossible. I quotes some sentences and keep it in my mind which are " that In the process of working on your dreams you are going incur a lot of disappointment, a lot of failure, a lot of pain." However, "it's not over until I win." In conclusion, sports are my favorite hobby, getting University of Houston my objective and don't give up on your dream.

My major has made me meticulous pupil who is focusing ,wondering , and asking for details .Not only in the academic filed but also Rana's daily rotten. Finally , I'm going to explain my name in Spanish and Arabic for a concrete reason . I had an awful welcome in my first day in Houston airport . The officer who stamps the passport told me ,"do you know what does Rana mean in Spanish ?." I was shook because it means a Frog . However ,having a Frog is a good luck as a dentist told me today . Rana in Arabic has variety of gorgeous definitions . Rana means the female who has beautiful face .
Hellow guys! I'm David! My korean name is Eutteum Lee. It's too hard to pronounce so just call me David. I've been here for 1 year. I graduated high school few years ago. After that I did some some work. inducted into the army, went university(even though I hate my major), trying to be a famous model.etc... I came here for studying English. I want to live here so maybe I'll go to the U of H. My hobbies are playing computer game, watching soccer and baseball, listening music, and watching movies. ReplyDeleteMy name is Ahmed. I'm from Qatif, Saudi Arabia. I graduated from high school in 2012. Seven months later, I came to Houston to continue my study. I started with the LCC in January 2013, so this is my fifth semester (Level 2, 3, 4, 5, and 5 again.) After finishing the English program, I am going to start my college study with either Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
It is nice to be with you guys ^^
